About the creators - Rani and Gal, founders of Callisto
Callisto was founded by Rani and Gal, designers with a rich background in design and aesthetics. We both hold a B.Des in Fashion Design from Shenkar, where our artistic sensibility and understanding of form, color, and material were refined laying the foundation for the design language that continues to guide our work today.
After years of working and creating in the worlds of design and materials, we found ourselves drawn to plastic art, a place where we can touch, sculpt, and translate inspiration into volume, texture, and material reality.
From this connection, Studio Callisto was born a studio for handmade contemporary art,
combining the precision and aesthetics of the design world with the materiality, nature, and light of Middle Eastern landscapes.
Each of our creations carries a personal touch a balance between meticulous design planning and intuitive work guided by the heart.
We believe that true art is that which succeeds in connecting matter and emotion, between an external landscape and an inner world.
As designers and creators, we see every piece as an opportunity to tell a story.
