Refund policy


1. Nature of the Products

1.1. All artworks offered for sale by Callisto — including original handmade pieces, canvas prints, and custom-made products — are produced according to the customer’s request, including the selection of colors, materials, dimensions, and style.

1.2. Placing an order constitutes a declaration that the customer is aware that these are unique items made specifically for them and therefore are not eligible for return, cancellation, or exchange, subject to the provisions of applicable consumer protection laws.


2. No Ready Stock

2.1. The studio does not keep ready-made inventory.

2.2. Every handmade piece, including canvas prints, is created or sent for printing only after an order is placed and payment is completed.

2.3. Prints are produced specifically for each customer by an external print house and therefore are not eligible for return or cancellation.


3. Cancellations, Returns, and Exchanges

3.1. As the products are made to order and customized according to the customer’s request, it is not possible to cancel the transaction, return the product, or request an exchange once the order has been placed.

3.2. This section applies in full also to canvas prints, which are produced specifically for each customer.

3.3. No refund will be provided for changes of mind, color preferences, or expectations regarding the final result after the customer has given final approval.


4. Approval Prior to Shipment

4.1. Once the artwork is completed, Callisto will provide the customer with visual documentation (photos) for final approval.

4.2. Shipment will be made only after receiving explicit written approval.

4.3. Such approval constitutes confirmation that the artwork meets the customer’s expectations and is ready to be shipped as presented.


5. Defect and/or Shipping Damage

5.1. If a product is received damaged or broken, the customer must notify Callisto within 24 hours and provide full documentation.

5.2. After review, Callisto will be responsible for repairing, restoring, or recreating the artwork, at its professional discretion and at no additional cost to the customer.


6. DIY Kits — Returns

6.1. Unlike custom-made artworks, DIY kits sold as closed kits and not customized are eligible for return.

6.2. A DIY kit may be returned within 5 business days from the date of receipt, provided it has not been used and is returned in its original packaging, sealed and intact.

6.3. Returns must be made to Callisto’s business address only, and return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

6.4. Once the product is received and the return conditions are met, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, in accordance with applicable law.


7. Exceptions

7.1. Natural variations resulting from handmade work — such as texture, depth, or slight changes in tone due to drying or printing processes — do not constitute a defect and do not entitle the customer to cancellation, repair, or replacement.

7.2. Color variations due to screen display settings are not the responsibility of Callisto and do not constitute grounds for return or repair.


8. Callisto Workshop Cancellation Policy

8.1. Cancellation up to 72 hours before the scheduled workshop — free of charge, with a full refund.

8.2. Cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled time — no refund will be provided; however, rescheduling to an alternative date may be offered, subject to availability.

8.3. No-show / cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled time — no refund and no rescheduling.

8.4. In exceptional cases such as force majeure, Callisto reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop. In such case, the customer will be offered a full refund or an alternative date, at the customer’s choice.
